Soccer Game Preview: Oologah vs. Central

The Oologah Mustangs will venture away from home to face off against the Central Braves at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Oologah has five straight wins, Central has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Oologah is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Porter get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Friday. Give Oologah's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

They hit Porter with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Layney Molini (4), Kalley Hogue (2), Allie Charloe, and Brynlee Sweet.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Central's offense. They lost 10-0 to Commerce on Tuesday.

Oologah's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those four contests. As for Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
