Soccer Game Preview: Argyle vs. Grapevine

The Argyle Eagles will face off against the Grapevine Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Argyle is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.

Argyle's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over Richland. Argyle's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last seven matches.

Meanwhile, Grapevine and Colleyville Heritage finished up on equal footing with a 3-3 draw on Thursday.

Chloe O'Steen and Brooke Turner scored all three of the Mustangs' goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Grapevine's draw gives them a new season record of 6-4-2. As for Argyle, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1-1.
