Baseball Recap: Philip Barbour Extends Home Winning Streak to 13

Philip Barbour strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Ritchie County Rebels with a sharp 10-1 win. Considering the Colts have won four matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Kale Wolfe made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). Wolfe was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Landyn Carpenter was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Tyler Sisson, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one triple.
