Florence had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Vancleave Bulldogs with a sharp 8-1 victory on Saturday. Considering the Eagles have won 12 games by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Vancleave with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kadie Carroll (3), Jordyn Quick (3), and Kamryn Frazier (2).

Florence is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those seven contests. As for Vancleave, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.

Florence wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against East Central on the 11th. Vancleave does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
