Football Recap: Bedford Takes a Loss

The Bedford Kicking Mules lost 35-14 to the Mansfield Hornets on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Kicking Mules can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 186th in Michigan, while the Hornets are ranked 19th in Massachusetts).

Bedford now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Mansfield, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Bedford will venture away from home to take on Monroe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mansfield, they will host Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
