Basketball Recap: St. John XXIII Takes a Loss

St. John XXIII saw some tournament action on Friday. They lost 67-44 to the Nolan Catholic Vikings.

St. John XXIII has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.2 points per game. As for Nolan Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 16-10.

St. John XXIII wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 64-51 defeat against Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool on the 27th. As for Nolan Catholic, they will challenge St. Thomas Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
