Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Landmark Christian). They blew past the Walker Wolverines 47-24 on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the War Eagles as it put an end to their eight-game losing streak.

Landmark Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Charm Husband, who posted 11 points and seven steals. Another player making a difference was Katie Kinsinger, who scored 11 points and five steals.

Landmark Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in three consecutive matchups.

When it comes to explaining why Walker lost, don't look at Ava Sanderson. Despite the final result, she put up 12 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Landmark Christian's victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-13. As for Walker, they dropped their record down to 3-13 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Landmark Christian will head out to square off against Paideia at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Walker, they will venture away from home to face off against Mt. Bethel Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Mt. Bethel Christian Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Walker surely won't give up without a fight.
