Basketball Recap: Independence Home School Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ozanam back in February, Independence Home School came back down to earth. Independence Home School came up short against The Daniel Academy on Monday, falling 59-39. Independence Home School was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced The Daniel Academy earlier this season, when they won 61-55.

Noah Lee had an outrageously good game for The Daniel Academy as he went 9-for-17 to rack up 28 points and six steals. The Daniel Academy is undefeated when Lee posts five or more steals, but 5-8 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Hanson, who posted eight points and ten rebounds.

Independence Home School's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for The Daniel Academy, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Independence Home School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for The Daniel Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 49-41 victory against Midland Adventist Academy on the 25th.
