Basketball Recap: Maxwell Vo-Tech Drops Season-High Score on East New York Arts and Civics

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Maxwell Vo-Tech). They strolled past East New York Arts and Civics with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 65-48. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 64-62 back in December of 2024.

Maxwell Vo-Tech's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for East New York Arts and Civics, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maxwell Vo-Tech will welcome All City Leadership Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. All City Leadership Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Maxwell Vo-Tech surely won't give up without a fight. As for East New York Arts and Civics, they will challenge Classics at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Classics knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matches -- so hopefully East New York Arts and Civics likes a good challenge.
