Soccer Game Preview: Eastside vs. Antelope Valley

The Eastside Lions will square off against the Antelope Valley Antelopes at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Eastside's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Eastside is headed into the match having not lost since November 17 and will look to keep things rolling. They and Lancaster finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw on Friday.

Meanwhile, Antelope Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Littlerock on Friday and fell 2-1. Antelope Valley have struggled against Littlerock recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Eastside's draw makes their record 3-1-2 this season. As for Antelope Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Eastside beat Antelope Valley 3-1 in their previous matchup back in January. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Antelopes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
