Basketball Recap: Cranston East Takes a Loss

Cranston East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 45-16 loss at the hands of the East Providence Townies. The Thunderbolts were probably out for revenge after losing 64-43 to them when the teams met back in January of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cranston East's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for East Providence, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cranston East will face off against Rogers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for East Providence, they will challenge Narragansett at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
