Softball Recap: Fort Stockton Comes Up Short

Fort Stockton was the 8-2 winner over Greenwood when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Fort Stockton took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Greenwood on Friday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fort Stockton's loss dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Greenwood, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-12-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Fort Stockton is set to square off against their familiar foe Seminole at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Greenwood will take on rival Andrews at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
