Football Recap: Edison Victorious

Edison lost to San Clemente back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Chargers managed a 19-13 win over the Tritons.

The critical scores for Edison came from Preslee Thomas, Sadie Olivares, and Ayla Khoshkbariie.

San Clemente lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Chloe Williams, who threw for 197 yards and one TD on only 18 passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Giselle Nacelli, who picked up 96 receiving yards and one score.

Edison's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for San Clemente, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2.

Edison didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-2 win against Anaheim on the 2nd. As for San Clemente, they have also already played their next game, a 26-0 loss against San Marcos on the 30th.
