Basketball Recap: Line Mountain Wins Going Away Against Millersburg

Line Mountain won the last time they faced Millersburg and things went their way on Monday too. The Line Mountain Eagles walked away with a 55-47 victory over the Millersburg Indians. That eight point margin sets a new team best for the Eagles this season.

Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nolan Schreffler, who posted 14 points in addition to five assists and five steals. Schreffler is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Romberger, who had 15 points along with eight boards and three blocks.

The win got Line Mountain back to even at 3-3. As for Millersburg, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Line Mountain will welcome Juniata at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Millersburg, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Halifax at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
