Basketball Recap: Byron Nelson Comes Up Short

After flying high against Keller Central last Tuesday, Byron Nelson came back down to earth. The Byron Nelson Bobcat lost 69-45 to the Southlake Carroll Dragons on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bobcat have suffered since November 14, 2024.

Byron Nelson's loss dropped their record down to 22-10. As for Southlake Carroll, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 21-8.

Byron Nelson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Southlake Carroll, they will head out on the road to square off against Trinity at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
