Football Recap: New Fairfield Rebels vs. Notre Dame Prep Lancers

After flying high against Lewis Mills last Friday, New Fairfield came back down to earth. The Rebels lost to the Notre Dame Prep Lancers on the road by a 43-26 margin on Friday. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Rebels, who until this game were averaging 13.8 points allowed.

Michael Traynor threw for 300 yards and three TDs. Anthony Debartolomeo was his top target, picking up 86 receiving yards.

Notre Dame Prep was led to victory by LJ Richardson and Ja'Cari Harris. Richardson rushed for 141 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only nine carries, while Harris rushed for 135 yards and two scores while picking up 7.9 yards per carry.
