Soccer Game Preview: Brennan vs. Warren

The Brennan Bears will face off against the Warren Warriors at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Brennan is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Taft just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Brennan couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Warren entered their tilt with Harlan on Friday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. Their defense stepped up to hand the Hawks a 7-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Warren, who have now won 12 matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Harlan with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jocelyn Flores (3), Chloe Lombard (2), Lyliana Ketchens, and Kaitlyn White.

Brennan's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7-3. As for Warren, their victory bumped their record up to 17-1-1.

Brennan might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Warren in their previous meeting back in February. Can the Bears avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
