Basketball Recap: Christian Community Find Success

If Pleasant View Christian wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Christian Community, they should've done a better job of containing M.J. Dodd. Everything went the Christian Community Colts' way against the Pleasant View Christian Warriors on Saturday as the Christian Community Colts made off with a 43-18 win thanks in part to Dodd, who went 9 for 15 en route to 19 points along with eight steals and seven rebounds. That's the most points she has posted since back in February of 2024.

Christian Community's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Pleasant View Christian, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christian Community will challenge Jo Byrns at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pleasant View Christian, they will square off against Franklin Road Christian at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
