Baseball Recap: South Garland Takes a Loss

South Garland lost against West Mesquite back in March of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The South Garland Titans fell just short of the West Mesquite Wranglers by a score of 4-2. The Titans' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

South Garland saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was ADRIAN DELGADO, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. That hit was DELGADO's first of the season.

South Garland's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for West Mesquite, the win snapped their losing streak at ten games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-8 record.

Coming up, South Garland is taking a road trip to take on Horn at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. Horn's pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so South Garland's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for West Mesquite, they will take on DeSoto in a tournament on Friday.
