Basketball Recap: Valley Takes a Loss

Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They fell 51-43 to the Armstrong River Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 51-37 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2025.

Quinton Olsen was nothing short of spectacular for Armstrong: he dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds. What's more, Olsen also posted a 47% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in February of 2025. Another player making a difference was Jaydon Oliver, who posted ten points.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Armstrong, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Valley nor Armstrong have any future games scheduled.
