Basketball Recap: Southern Takes a Loss

Southern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 38-24 to the Portland Christian Eagles. The game marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Southern's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Portland Christian, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Southern didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 70-31 loss against North Bullitt on the 17th. As for Portland Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 68-33 win against DuPont Manual on the 17th.
