The Hamilton Huskies will square off against the Mountain View Toros at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hamilton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

Hamilton is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Liberty, who was ranked 21st at the time (Hamilton was ranked second). The Huskies skirted past the Lions 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Huskies have posted against the Lions since April 30, 2019.

Cole Berge was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Nico Linville, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Hamilton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in 11 consecutive matches.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Mountain View and Desert Vista had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Toros walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Thunder on Saturday. The game was the first time the Toros have beaten the Thunder on their field since March 4, 2022.

Mountain View's win bumped their record up to 18-11. As for Hamilton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

Hamilton came out on top in a nail-biter against Mountain View when the teams last played back in March of 2020, sneaking past 9-8. Do the Huskies have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Toros turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
