Basketball Recap: Hanks Takes a Loss

Hanks won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They took a blow against the Chapin Huskies, falling 85-29. The defeat continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now lost five in a row.

Hanks' loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Chapin, they pushed their record up to 17-1 with the victory, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Hanks and Eastlake will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Eastlake is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.9 points per game this season. As for Chapin, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Riverside at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
