Softball Recap: Lone Oak Now 7-2 over Last Nine Games

Lone Oak won the last time they faced Lindsay and things went their way on Saturday too. The Lone Oak Buffaloes came out on top against the Lindsay Knights by a score of 8-3.

Lone Oak is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. With the loss, Lindsay broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-6.

Lone Oak wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-8 win against Tioga on the 1st. As for Lindsay, they will host Bryson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be Bryson's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
