Basketball Recap: Parkrose Comes Up Short

Parkrose was the 57-50 winner over Canby when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Parkrose Broncos took a blow against the Canby Cougars on Monday, falling 61-11.

Parkrose's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Canby, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parkrose will take on Wilsonville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Wilsonville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches. As for Canby, they will face off against Hood River Valley at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
