Basketball Recap: Donna Comes Up Short

Donna played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 55-29 to the Rivera Raiders. The Redskins haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Rivera was led to victory by Isaiah Cuellar and Reggie Clark. Cuellar almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine boards, while Clark went 5 for 11 en route to 15 points. Cuellar's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Cristian Vergara, who posted six points.

Donna's loss dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Rivera, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-12.

Donna has already played their next contest, a 54-24 defeat against Pace on the 21st. As for Rivera, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 64-43 victory against Porter on the 20th.
