Volleyball Recap: Beacon Hill Takes a Loss

Beacon Hill entered their contest against Legacy Christian Academy on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Gryphon fell just short of the Lions by a score of 2-1. The Gryphon were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Beacon Hill sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 24-26, 15-11.

Beacon Hill's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Beacon Hill wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Hillcrest Christian on the 14th. Legacy Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
