Volleyball Recap: Cienega Triumphs

Cienega's tournament run continued when they took on St. Augustine on Saturday. The Bobcats walked away with a 2-0 win over the Saints.

Chase Briggs paced Cienega's offense, picking up eight kills. Briggs got some help from Caiden Mott and his 16 assists.

Cienega's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for St. Augustine, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-4.

Coming up, Cienega will challenge Canyon del Oro at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Augustine, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Cathedral Catholic on the 24th.
