Volleyball Recap: Granite Falls Wins Going Away Against Mount Vernon Christian + How To Watch

Granite Falls barely beat Mount Vernon Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers put the hurt on the Hurricanes with a sharp 3-0 win on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Granite Falls was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-13, 25-16.

Vilomena Cavuilati paced Granite Falls' offense, picking up 12 kills. Cavuilati got some help from Georgia Natseos and her 25 assists. Kirie Finchum controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Granite Falls' victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Mount Vernon Christian, they now have a losing record of 3-4-2.

Coming up, Granite Falls will be playing at home against Sultan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mount Vernon Christian, they will venture away from home to challenge La Conner at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
