Soccer Game Preview: Theodore vs. Baldwin County

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Theodore take on Baldwin County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Theodore will be strutting in after a win while Baldwin County will be coming in after a defeat.

Theodore took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They never let Murphy get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Baldwin County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Gulf Shores. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly three goals.

Theodore's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-5-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three contests. As for Baldwin County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12-3.

Theodore came out on top in a nail-biter against Baldwin County in their previous meeting back in February, sneaking past 3-2. Does Theodore have another victory up their sleeve, or will Baldwin County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
