Wilcox-Hildreth's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Shelton on the road and fell 89-52. Wilcox-Hildreth was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 53-21.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Grayson Sheen, who scored 13 points. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Dagan Ortgiesen, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Hampton came up short against Lawrence-Nelson on Thursday and fell 30-22.
Wilcox-Hildreth's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Hampton, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
