Volleyball Recap: Northside Takes a Loss

The Northside Rams didn't have quite enough to beat the Russellville Golden Tigers on Wednesday and fell 3-2. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Kaleigh Miller paced Northside's offense, picking up 21 kills. Miller got some help from Aiden Sharbutt and her 49 assists. Haley Brooke Lyons controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Northside's loss dropped their record down to 34-7. As for Russellville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 41-15 record this season.

Northside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Russellville, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Guntersville on the 22nd.
