Volleyball Recap: Stillwater Falls to East Ridge in First Game of Season

Stillwater kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the East Ridge Raptors, falling 3-0. If the Ponies were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Raptors when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: East Ridge scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 25-18.

East Ridge pushed their record up to 8-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Stillwater does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Ridge, they will square off against Woodbury at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
