Soccer Recap: Henrico Takes a Loss

If Henrico was riding high fresh off their 5-0 takedown of Highland Springs on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors came up short against the Atlee Raiders on Tuesday, falling 11-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Henrico of the 9-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Henrico has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Atlee, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Henrico will face off against Hermitage at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Henrico will be up against Hermitage's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.33 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Atlee, they will take on Mechanicsville at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
