Volleyball Recap: Burroughs Beats Mccluer for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Burroughs waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the McCluer Comets 3-0.

Burroughs found their leader in sophomore Sophie Zhang, who had eight digs and three aces. Moriyah Douglass also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Burroughs was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 22 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 18 consecutive matchups.

Burroughs' win bumped their record up to 15-7-1. As for McCluer, they now have a losing record of 8-9-1.

As of now, neither Burroughs nor the Comets have any future games scheduled.
