Baseball Recap: West Central Area Comes Up Short

West Central Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Minnewaska Area Lakers. The Knights were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lakers from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

West Central Area's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Minnewaska Area, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-4.

Looking ahead, West Central Area will be playing at home against Melrose at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Minnewaska Area, they will challenge Fergus Falls at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
