Volleyball Recap: Maddie Williams and Parker Welty Secure Win for North Davidson

There's no place like home for North Davidson, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the North Forsyth Vikings on Wednesday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: North Davidson took every set by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-10, 25-10.

Leading North Davidson to victory were Parker Welty and Maddie Williams. Welty had five digs and four aces, while Williams had three aces. That's the most aces Williams has posted since back in August of 2024.

North Davidson is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season. As for North Forsyth, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

North Davidson has already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Oak Grove on the 22nd. As for North Forsyth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Atkins on the 22nd.
