Football Recap: Dodge County Skates Past Jefferson County with Ease + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dodge County). They claimed a resounding 51-12 win over the Jefferson County Warriors. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Indians' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 173rd, while the Warriors are ranked 384th).

Dodge County's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jauriel Bray, who picked up 50 receiving yards and two scores.

Dodge County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Terrance Fordham Jr led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. Dodge County got some further help from Peyton Butts: he picked up a sack and made ten total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Dodge County's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.5 points over those games. As for Jefferson County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

That contest will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Kain Mincey and Jordan Wiggins.
