Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Alta's Eighth in Last Nine Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bingham, Alta was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They blew past the Davis Darts 3-0.

Corbin Batista paced Alta's offense, picking up 14 kills. Batista got some help from Jameson Biggs and his 27 assists. John Wright controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Alta has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Davis, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.

Coming up, Alta is taking a road trip to challenge Olympus at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Davis, they have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Hunter on the 26th.
