Seaside entered their tilt with York on Thursday with four consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the York Falcons. The Spartans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

The win didn't come easy: York scored at least 22 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 18-25, 25-23, 25-22.

ESAHI BERNAL paced Seaside's offense, picking up 18 kills. BERNAL got some help from ISAAC WATERS and his 33 assists. TIMOTE SANTOS controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Seaside's victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

Looking ahead, Seaside will take on Everett Alvarez at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for York, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Hollister on the 15th.
