Soccer Recap: Vanguard Academy Rembrandt Comes Up Short

Vanguard Academy Rembrandt lost against Hidalgo back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Vanguard Academy Rembrandt Spartans came up short against the Hidalgo Pirates, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 692nd, while the Pirates are ranked 240th).

Vanguard Academy Rembrandt now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Hidalgo, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-1-1.

As of now, neither Vanguard Academy Rembrandt nor Hidalgo have any future games scheduled.
