Soccer Recap: Eastern Gets the Win

Eastern won against Bethel-Tate on Thursday with three goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Saturday. The Warriors came out on top against the Valley Indians by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Eastern.

Eastern now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.

Eastern will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Georgetown at 5:30 p.m. on October 1. As for Valley, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Minford on the 23rd.
