After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Granby, Churchland was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Norcom Greyhounds a 15-0 shutout. With that win, the Truckers brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.

Jestice Hill was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Adrianna Reynolds, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

Churchland kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Churchland's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Norcom, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Looking ahead, Churchland will host Denbigh at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Norcom, they will head out on the road to square off against Lake Taylor at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
