Pomona Catholic came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Paraclete Spirits. This was a revenge game for the Pacers: when they faced off against the Spirits back in September, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Pomona Catholic was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-21, 19-25, 25-19, 16-14.

Pomona Catholic's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Paraclete, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.

Coincidentally, Pomona Catholic and Paraclete will both be playing Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary the next time they take the court. The Pacers will head out to face the Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Spirits will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
