Softball Recap: Nuview Bridge Comes Up Short

Nuview Bridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 26-2 to the Santa Rosa Academy Rangers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, with their most recent loss being a 26-2 defeat on Monday.

Nuview Bridge saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emily Miranda, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.

Nuview Bridge's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Santa Rosa Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-6.

Coming up, Nuview Bridge will square off against San Jacinto Valley Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.25 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Santa Rosa Academy, they will take on California Military Institute at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
