Baseball Recap: Christopher's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Christopher gave up the first runs on Saturday, but they didn't let that get them down. They skirted past the Palo Alto Vikings 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Cougars, who have now won four matches in a row.

Christopher got a great performance from Nick Valentine as he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jacob Vasquez, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April.

Christopher's victory bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Palo Alto, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-14.

As of now, neither Christopher nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
