Volleyball Recap: West Muskingum's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

West Muskingum had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the Maysville Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

West Muskingum was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17, 25-11.

West Muskingum found their leader in sophomore Brooke Beight, who had eight digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Beight.

West Muskingum's victory bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Maysville, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-13.
