After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bishop Shanahan, Sun Valley was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Kennett Blue Demons by a score of 7-3. This was a revenge game for the Vanguards: when they faced off against the Blue Demons back in April, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

The team relied heavily on Jaden Comisiak, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Sebastian Graham also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Sun Valley's win bumped their record up to 3-14. As for Kennett, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Sun Valley will face off against rival Oxford at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Kennett is set to challenge their familiar foe Unionville at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
