Basketball Recap: Bremond Comes Up Short

After flying high against Iola last Tuesday, Bremond came back down to earth. The Bremond Tigers had to suffer through a 62-24 loss at the hands of the Mumford Mustangs. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Bremond's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-5. As for Mumford, they pushed their record up to 21-5 with the win, which was their 24th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Somerville the next time they take the court. Bremond will host Somerville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Mumford will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on January 28th.
