Volleyball Game Preview: Franklin Panthers vs. Pisgah Bears

The Franklin Panthers will head out on the road to take on the Pisgah Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Franklin has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with five straight losses, while Pisgah will come in with three straight wins.

On Wednesday, Franklin came up short against West Henderson and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-22, 24-26, 25-20, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Pisgah had just enough and edged out North Henderson 3-2 on Tuesday.

Pisgah was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (109-108), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 22-25, 18-25, 28-26, 15-12.

Pisgah pushed their record up to 3-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Franklin, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Franklin suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Pisgah when the teams last played on April 8th. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
